Think you might have a future Sandy Lam in your family? Hone that talent at SeanyMac Studios, which has launched a kids' singing class at its new location in Wan Chai.
The 2,000-square-foot space on the second floor of CKK Commercial Centre allows for six classrooms, so the company is expanding its vocal coaching repertoire to include a specially designed kids' singing class.
Designed to bring out the inner vocalist in kids, the new class aims to help children grow and boost their confidence in handling life obstacles with the power of vocal performance lessons. The classes will be taught in a dedicated 300-square-foot kids' group classroom.
Parents can expect professional vocal coaching sessions for their children, led by seasoned teaching staff based in Hong Kong.
The studio's team of tutors bring to the table a combination of extensive stage performance and coaching experience. Founded in 2017 by Sean Oliver, an accomplished vocal coach with a professional career spanning over 30 years, the studio boasts of distinguished alumni such Sandy Lam, A-Mei, Sammi Cheng, Elva Hsiao and Fiona Sit. Its coaching method has been used for television, studio recording sessions and live performances.
"We're honored to be a part of motivating singers' journeys in defining their identities as a performance artist," said Oliver.
"We always believe in the power of music in shaping a better life, and we're glad to contribute our expertise and hope that everyone can experience it."
The first kids' class will start on September 3.
