China sanctions Japanese lawmaker for Taiwan ties, state media reports

China has imposed sanctions on Japanese lawmaker Keiji Furuya due to his "collusion with Taiwan independence" forces, state television CCTV reported on Monday.

The government will bar Furuya's entry into China and freeze his property and other assets in the country, CCTV reported.
