Quan competed in the team event for Guangdong and won a gold medal despite suffering from an injury which caused her to withdraw from the individual 10-meter platform, yet she continued to stay on-site to see her teammates through to the end.
After the Games, she held her first personal livestream to interact with fans and spoke with Olympic champion teammates Chen Aisen and Chen Yiwen.
Quan said that while her competition had ended, exciting events like athletics, swimming, and breakdancing were still ongoing, which she planned to follow.
The livestream lasted about an hour and earned 43,598.6 yuan, all of which she donated to rural children, sharing proof of her donation.
She also posted on Weibo: "There is no road that's walked in vain; every right and wrong is a footprint of mine," summarizing her Games experience.
A photo of her by the pool with "#See you next time" excited fans, who eagerly supported her hopes for a comeback.
