Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu will lead a delegation to visit Zhejiang on Tuesday (Apr 22) and return to Hong Kong on Friday (Apr 25).
The city leader is set to attend the High-Level Meeting and First Plenary Session of the Hong Kong/Zhejiang Co-operation Conference in Hangzhou, and the Hong Kong Investment Promotion Conference - Zhejiang (Ningbo) Forum and Ningbo-Hong Kong Economic Co-operation Forum in Ningbo.
The delegation included Chief Secretary Eric Chan Kwok-ki; Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong Wai-lun; Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang Kwok-wai; Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau Ying-wah; Secretary for Housing Winnie Ho Wing-yin; Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry Sun Dong; and the Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs Alice Mak Mei-kuen.
During the visit, Lee and the delegation will meet with leaders from Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou and Ningbo. They will also visit local facilities and projects in areas including innovation and technology as well as healthcare.
The Chief Executive said a specific cooperation mechanism between the two places will be established through this visit, further strengthening collaboration, achieving complementarity and mutual benefits, and making more significant contributions to the country's high-quality development.
