Four Chinese visitors to Shanghai sick, 76 quarantined

Shanghai reported four more coronavirus infections of Chinese arriving from overseas Tuesday.

The municipal health commission said all of them were Chinese on baord a flight from Russia. A total of 76 people in close contact with the confirmed patients on the flight have been put under quarantine.

The municipal health commission said a total of 283 imported cases had been reported in Shanghai by Tuesday.

On Tuesday, no new locally transmitted infections were reported and 10 patients, seven of which were from the United States and three from Britain, were discharged from hospitals in Shanghai after recovery.

By Tuesday, the municipality has reported 339 locally transmitted confirmed cases, including seven deaths.
