Since the release of the Epstein files by the US Department of Justice, Elon Musk has found himself trying to explain away on X the numerous emailed exchanged between him and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Musk has been insisting that it was Epstein who was in pursuit of him and not the other way around. He denies any wrong doing, he denies ever visiting the infamous Epstein Island, called Little St James and claims no knowledge of what was really happening at Epstein's depraved parties.
According to one if the emails sent in Nov. 2012, Musk asks “What day/night will be the wildest party on =our island?”
Musk then seems to attempt to deflect from his own emails by going after Reid Hoffman, founder of LinkedIn.
Musk writes in one tweet, “The big difference between you and me, Reid, is that you went and I did not. In fact, you went multiple times. First time was maybe a mistake, but not the second time you went,”
Then he writes in another “And, as the email shows, I obviously didn’t anticipate anything actually shady, as I was bringing my wife at the time (Talulah). Nonetheless, UNLIKE YOU, I came to my senses and declined to go,”
Musk added that he ultimately declined to join, citing concerns about Epstein's motives and his own decision to block him after multiple attempts to persuade him to visit.
