A two-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after nearly being strangled by a safety belt on the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast ride at Tokyo Disneyland.
The incident occurred around 2:30 pm on Tuesday when the child was sitting on a parent's lap with the safety belt secured. Due to improper positioning, the waist belt reportedly shifted upward and wrapped around the boy's neck.
Another visitor alerted emergency services after noticing the child showing signs of distress. Park staff immediately stopped the attraction, which swings and rotates guests in cup-shaped vehicles through scenes from the Disney film.

The toddler was transported to hospital by ambulance, though the extent of his injuries remains unclear.
Oriental Land Company, which operates Tokyo Disneyland, said it would strengthen safety monitoring of rides through both software and hardware improvements to ensure visitor safety.
