Hang Seng Index gains early ground on Wednesday

The Hang Seng Index opened slightly higher on Wednesday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index increased 54 points to 25,923 points.

The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 0.1 percent to around 5,113 points.

Tencent (0700) dropped 0.64 percent before it announces its annual financial result on Wednesday.
