Hong Kong's largest licensed crypto exchange HashKey files for IPO: Bloomberg

HashKey, Hong Kong's largest licensed virtual asset exchange, has confidentially submitted an application for an initial public offering that could raise up to US$500 million (HK$3.9 billion), according to a Bloomberg report.

The exchange, one of the first two platforms to receive virtual asset trading platform licenses from Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission alongside OSL Exchange, may aim to list as early as this year, the report said. 

OSL's parent company OSL Group (0863) is already publicly traded in Hong Kong.

Bloomberg said sources cautioned that details including valuation and timing remain subject to change. 

A HashKey representative declined to comment.
