The criticism centered around the singer’s Alter Ego vinyl record with a signed insert.
Many fans who purchased the autographed albums took to social media, questioning whether the signatures on the albums are authentic.
Most of the fans who purchased them expected the albums to be hand-signed, but it appears that the signatures were possibly done using autopen.
An autopen is a device that mechanically reproduces a person’s signature, perfectly replicating human handwriting.
Fans noticed that though Lisa’s signature across different batches of the album were slightly different, those sold in the same store or area had identical signatures.
The news has drawn criticism from fans, especially as the limited-edition albums were sold at a much higher price than the standard ones.
However, some fans still defended Lisa, speculating that the decision could be the fault of the production and management team.
