Swire Properties has launched an art exhibition and a documentary film to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Taikoo Li Chengdu.
As a prominent mixed-use development by Swire in Southwest China, Taikoo Li Chengdu is strategically located in the heart of Chengdu's Jinjiang District. The development features an open-air, lane-driven retail mall alongside The Temple House, a luxury hotel under The House Collective brand.
Since its opening in 2015, Taikoo Li Chengdu has attracted over 30 million visitors annually, establishing itself as an iconic landmark in the region.
The art exhibition, named "Your Incredible Moments", pays tribute to Taikoo Li Chengdu's decade of boundless creativity and imagination. It features a striking 10-metre-tall, 10-sided pavilion crafted from recycled wooden beams that reflect the region's architectural heritage.
The pavilion and the heritage wall will also form the number "10" while viewed from above.
The documentary film -- "An Oral History Documentary for Taikoo Li Chengdu's 10th Anniversary" -- features interviews with more than 50 Swire Properties' colleagues and partners to chronicle the project's remarkable transition from the initial blueprint to the present day.
