'Make Music, Hong Kong!' is back with more than 30 free concerts

The 8th edition of "Make Music, Hong Kong!" -- a music festival that celebrates a diverse range of musical genres -- will return in mid-June and feature over 30 concerts that music enthusiasts can enjoy at no cost.

Organized by the Alliance Française de Hong Kong and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, the music festival will take place on June 20 and 21 at The Fringe Club, Terrible Baby at Eaton Hotel, The Wanch, and Trilogy.

Five European bands and 20 local bands will be performing at the festival, bringing the audience to immerse themselves in smooth jazz to energetic pop, rock to hypnotic electronic beats.

Jarl Flamar from France, Funkee Tung from Czechia/HK, and DJ Samir are among the performers.

Being a special event of the French May Arts Festival in Hong Kong, the music event is dedicated to fostering artistic exchange between European countries and Hong Kong.

Founded in 1993, the French May Arts Festival is Hong Kong's biggest cultural event and one of the most anticipated festivals in the city.
