Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po will depart for Europe late Monday to attend events hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in London, United Kingdom, and Milan, Italy.
During his stay in London from Tuesday (Nov 25) to Wednesday, Chan will attend a series of events, including the "Hong Kong Dinner" hosted by the HKTDC and a luncheon organized by the Hong Kong Association.
He will also meet with local business and financial leaders, as well as representatives of family offices, to update them on the latest developments in Hong Kong and promote the city's advantages.
From Thursday to Friday, Chan will visit Milan while leading a delegation of around 80 members to participate in the "Think Business, Think Hong Kong" promotional event and the "Hong Kong Dinner," both organized by the HKTDC.
The delegation comprises representatives from various government agencies, including the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, and Invest Hong Kong
The delegation also includes representatives from industry organisations and enterprises in sectors such as finance, artificial intelligence, information technology, biotech, logistics, design, and professional services.
While in Milan, Chan will also meet with local industrial and business leaders and corporate executives.
Chan will depart Milan at around noon on Friday (local time) and return to Hong Kong the next morning (Hong Kong time).
