Classes of all-day schools, including AM, whole-day, and PM schools, are suspended, according to the Education Bureau.
It added that schools should implement a contingency plan and arrange staff to look after students who might arrive and ensure that conditions are safe before allowing students to return home.
The Bureau said if the Observatory issues an Amber Rainstorm Warning Signal or cancels all Rainstorm Warning Signals at or before 5pm, classes of evening schools will proceed as usual tonight unless advised otherwise.
