Hong Kong stocks continued to slide by noon on Tuesday, following a Monday tech selloff.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index dipped by 64 points, or 0.3 percent to 25,453 at noon.
The half-day market turnover was HK$126.8 billion.
The Hang Seng Tech Index was down by 0.8 percent to 4,559 points at noon.
Shares of Alibaba (9988) inched up after sinking over 8 percent on Monday on a HK$80 billion share sale plan.
In the mainland, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index was down by 0.1 percent to 3,876 points and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index went down by 0.8 percent to 13,687 points at the midday close.
