Hong Kong shares retreated by noon on Friday

Hong Kong stocks retreated from early gains by noon on Friday, down 0.24 percent.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index decreased 61 points to 25,884.

The China Enterprises Index inched down by 0.22 percent to 9,144, and the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 0.11 percent to 5,603.
