Link REIT eyes US$100 million Sydney warehouse deal with Dexus

Link Real Estate Investment Trust (0823) is reportedly in talks to acquire a warehouse in Sydney from Australian property firm Dexus, with the deal estimated at around US$100 million (HK$780 million), according to Bloomberg.

The report said two parties are said to be finalizing terms and could reach an agreement as early as this month. 

Both Link REIT and Dexus declined to comment on the report.

Earlier, market sources said Link REIT is exploring the possibility of spinning off some of its non-mainland China and Hong Kong assets into a real estate investment trust for a potential listing in Singapore.
