Organized by the Chinese Opera Association of Terrestrial and Maritime Dwellers of Barra, Macau, this event is recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China as the official guardian of A-Ma’s beliefs and customs in Macao. Festival highlights include captivating Cantonese opera performances, beginning with the opening ceremony at 5pm on April 18. Subsequent performances will take place daily, with shows at 7:30pm on April 18 and at 1:30pm and 7:30pm from April 19 to 22, all held at Barra Square.
