A secondary school organized a flag-raising ceremony, which aimed to commemorate the September 18 Mukden Incident alongside similar nationwide memorial activities for the 93rd anniversary this year.

Memorial events took place in various cities across the country yesterday, honoring the false flag operation staged by Japanese military personnel as a pretext for the invasion of Manchuria in 1931.
A significant memorial occurred yesterday morning at the September 18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, Liaoning province, where the incident originally unfolded. At 9.18am, air raid sirens sounded throughout the city for three minutes.
In Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Bishop Hall Secondary School in Sau Mau Ping held a flag-raising ceremony.
Several students said this provided them with a profound understanding of the incident.One student said: "I understood that the peace of a country requires the contribution of many people."
Another added: "I believe national security is vital for achieving stable and peaceful development."Also, the Action Committee for Defending the Diaoyu Islands organized a rally at the Japanese consulate in Hong Kong, attended by around 10 participants. They protested against the Japanese army's historical appropriation of Chinese valuables and testing of bioweapons, calling on the world to prevent war from harming civilians.
