Wheelock’s Spring Garden to launch 68 units, remaining 20 flats could see price rise
Wheelock Properties’ Spring Garden development in Wan Chai will launch the first round of sales on Sunday, offering 68 units, while the remaining 20 unsold flats may see modest price increases. The project, the first new residential launch since local banks cut interest rates, will release 60 units via price list and another 8 special units through tender on the same day, said Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu, managing director of Wheelock Properties. More than 1,500 buyers have registered for the sale, representing an oversubscription of more than 24 times for the flats offered via price lists. Chinese mainland and local buyers each account for roughly half of the registrations. Over 10 groups of buyers are reportedly eyeing full-floor purchases of four units each.
