US stocks fell slightly on Wednesday, taking a breather after the Dow Jones Industrial Average topped a significant milestone, CNBC reports.
The 30-stock Dow dipped ny 153 points, or 0.5 percent. The S&P 500 slipped ny 0.2 percent. The Nasdaq Composite advanced by 0.2 percent. Trading volumes are expected to be lighter than usual ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
JPMorgan Chase and IBM led the Dow lower, falling more than 1 percent each. Energy and financials each fell at least 1 percent and were the worst-performing sectors in the S&P 500.
