Hong Kong’s first national security-themed interactive school drama, Campus Chef Challenge, premiered on November 11 at City Hall, attended by around 400 guests, including school principals, teachers, and primary school students.
Organized by the Security Bureau with support from the Education Bureau, the production was performed by a professional theater troupe for primary students.
“Key concepts of national security should be learned from an early age. The drama incorporates scenarios that primary students may encounter in their daily lives, along with interactive elements, allowing them to learn about national security and law-abidingness in a relaxed atmosphere,” said Secretary for Security Tang Ping-keung.
Tang added that the school drama will be performed publicly next year.
Secretary for Education Choi Yuk-lin said the Education Bureau has been working closely with the Security Bureau to support schools in promoting and deepening national security education.
“The interactive school drama is an innovative idea that introduces the concept of safeguarding national security in a lighthearted and engaging way, helping schools promote national security education through diverse approaches,” Choi said.
