Matt Bradley bounced back from having his face bloodied in a first-period fight to net the winning goal as the Washington Capitals beat the New York Rangers 4-2 in the NHL.
Bradley, pictured, was forced off after taking several hard blows to the face from New York's Aaron Voros. Then with four minutes 51 minutes left in the third period, he raced up the ice on a break and beat goalie Henrik Lundqvist for the winner.
Brooks Laich and Brian Pothier also scored for the Capitals, who welcomed back Alex Ovechkin from injury.
Marian Gaborik scored both goals for the Rangers, putting him level with Ovechkin for the league lead with 15.
