Car seen engulfed in fire at Sha Tin Sui Wo Court

A private car in Sha Tin was seen engulfed in fire as a man tried to fight the blaze with a fire extinguisher but in vain. 

The incident occurred at around 4.49 a.m. on Saturday at a car park at Sui Wo Court. 

According to a video circulated online, the front of the car burned fiercely, and heavy smoke billowed into the air. A man is seen holding a fire extinguisher and fighting the blaze but fails to put out the fire completely. 

Police received multiple reports and alerted firefighters to come and put out the fire. 

No injuries were reported, and the firefighters didn’t find the fire suspicious after the investigation. 

Later in the morning, the front of the car could be seen completely damaged. The side of a taxi to its right was charred as well.
