Veteran Cantopop singer Alan Tam Wing-lun advises all men not to follow his example of having two "wives."
The 70-year-old celebrity wedded Sally Yeung Kit-mei in 1981 but kept the marriage under wraps.
A decade later, he got into an affair with a fan. Tam has a son, Howard Tam Hiu-fung, with Wendy Chu Wing-ting,.
It was not until the death of Tam's father in 2006 that he recognized the status of Chu and his son.
Yeung, on the other hand, has devoted herself to Buddhism.
He apologized on the air to both women, saying he has been caught between the two due to selfish desires and the wish to father a child.
"It's not good at all having two wives. They have been wronged so much. Don't follow my example," said the singer of such songs as Love Trap and Root of Love.
