Gobert and Clarkson shine as Jazz overpower Lakers

Rudy Gobert and Jordan Clarkson each scored 18 points and the Utah Jazz routed the Los Angeles Lakers 114-89.

Gobert, pictured, also had nine rebounds for the NBA-leading Jazz, who won for the 22nd time in their last 24 games. Bojan Bogdanovic added 15 points while Mike Conley had 14 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

"We're playing consistent basketball right now, that's the biggest thing," said guard Donovan Mitchell, who finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

LeBron James scored 19 points and Montrzel Harrell added 16 to lead the defending champions Lakers, who lost their fourth in a row and fifth in six games. They were without injured star Anthony Davis and guard Dennis Schroder.
