Music fans who want to tune live to an array of performers appearing at the New Year Countdown Concert can start registering today for a draw that provides 1,500 pairs of free tickets.

Performers including boy band Mirror, singers Alfred Hui Ting-hang, AGA and Hong Kong-based Malaysian Gin Lee, and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will be in a show being live-streamed worldwide on television and online from the West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park on New New's Eve.

This follows the countdowns being cancelled last year because of the pandemic and in 2019 over protest fears.

Registration for the draw with the Hong Kong Tourism Board starts at 5.30pm today and continues until November 24. Winners will be announced on December 3. All registrants must be at least 18 and fully vaccinated in Hong Kong against Covid-19.
