Cheung on a high after marathon No 100

Sports personality Walter Cheung Shu-wai completed his 100th full marathon in the Standard Chartered yesterday.

He has run marathons on six continents, including the world's highest marathon - the Everest Marathon - and the Six World Marathon Majors in New York, Boston, Chicago, London, Berlin and Tokyo.

Meanwhile, Secretary for the Civil Service Patrick Nip Tak-kuen finished the half-marathon race in two hours and 17 minutes.

He also took the chance to launch a fundraising for the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.

Lawmaker Vincent Cheng Wing-shun finished the half marathon in 2 hours 17 minutes, while the chairman of centrist party Third Side, Tik Chi-yuen, completed the full marathon.

Singer and actor Louis Cheung Kai-chung finished the half marathon in one hour and 33 minutes.
