The Chickeeduck chain's store in Tsuen Wan has had a boost from a police visit Thursday. Yesterday customers queued outside for a third day to check its pro-democracy goods.
At one point, about 100 people waited for their turn to enter the shop to make purchases, signaling their support for boss Herbert Chow Siu-lung. One said he queued an hour before entering.
The shop closed early at 6.30pm as it called upon supporters to go home to celebrate Mother's Day.
Police did not make any arrests last week as they cordoned off the shop to look into allegations that the pro-democracy clothing chain breached the national security law with its installations supporting protesters.
