Chuang Shuk-kwan, head of the Centre for Health Protection's communicable disease branch, has assured the public that she is holding up fine after netizens were concerned the senior health official was over-worked and urged her to take care of herself.
Chuang said that she is not the busiest among all staff members of the Department of Health although she has been attending every coronavirus press briefing since early January.
She said Constance Chan Hon-yee - director of the department, and Wong Ka-hing, director of the Center for Health Protection both have heavier workloads than her.
She added that colleagues in charge of the city's quarantine centers and Port Health Division are working non-stop.
