Hoardings erected outside two Prince Edward MTR exits were temporarily turned into "tribute sites" by protesters as they placed flowers and banners there.
MTR Corp said B1 and C1 exits were damaged and suspended from use.
Staff used hoarding and barricade tape to surround the exits for repair work and cleared the tribute sites at 9.50am yesterday.
Prince Edward MTR Station has been the center of controversy over the discrepancy in the number of people injured on August 31.
This has prompted unfounded rumors that anti-fugitive bill protesters were killed by police enforcement inside the station.
