The Financial Services Development Council announced the appointment of 11 committee members to its five existing committees with Amy Lo Choi-wan, co-head of UBS Wealth Management Asia Pacific, and chairman and head of UBS Wealth Management Greater China, among the new members.
The members will provide counsel at FSDC's policy research committee, mainland opportunities committee, new business committee, market development committee, and human capital committee, with tenure until January 16, 2021, said the FSDC. Chen Leiming, general counsel and senior vice president of Ant Financial Services, is also one of the new members.
In other news, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commence has appointed George Leung Siu-kay as chief executive, effective on May 1.
Leung previously resigned from his position as advisor to the deputy chairman and chief executive of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation at the end of last month. He called it an honor to join the top local commercial organization.
