Busy weekend for developers

A Tai Kok Tsui project, Long Beach, sold all 66 units on Saturday in what was a busy weekend for developers.

Hang Lung Properties (0101) said it will put 60 more units up for sale this Saturday.

A total of 102 unitshas been sold within two weeks, netting around HK$990 million.

The upcoming 60 units include two top floor special units and 58 two- and three- bedroom units sized between 560 and 863 sellable square feet. The average price per ssf for the 58 units is HK$15,200.

Around 3,000 people visited the weekend show flats for Bohemian House, a New World (0017) and Henderson Land (0012) joint venture in Sai Ying Pun.

An additional 20 units will be put on sale, on top of 50 already on the market. The project has so far received around 250 subscriptions.

The Spectra in Yuen Long, a K Wah International Holdings (0173) project, reportedly sold all 12 studio units within 30 minutes of the opening of sale on Saturday. The Spectra has a total of 912 units and so far it has sold an estimated 238 units.

The Ocean Wings, a Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016) project, in Tseung Kwan O, sold 40 units over the last week, bringing its 23-day total to 400 units worth HK$3.5 billion.

As for Alassio, a Swire Properties (1972) project in Mid-Levels, 80 subscriptions have come in for the 40 units to be put on sale on Wednesday. Since early April, Alassio sold 80 units, worth a total of HK$1.52 billion.
