Luxury watch-themed attractions are a must-visit for tourists in Switzerland, the capital of watchmaking.

Patek Philippe's salon and museum are common tourist spots in Geneva, while Carl F Bucherer's headquarters in Lucerne is another popular place of interest.

It must be an honor for these brands to become a world class attraction. To reach this level of recognition, the brand has to be famous and own an important position in the watch industry.

Carl F Bucherer is one of them, having been loved by many since its establishment in 1888.

Its platinum ladies' watch with diamonds, launched in 1960, is solid proof.

The timepiece costs as much as 55,000 Swiss francs (HK$436,500) - the price of a castle at the time.
