Luxury watch-themed attractions are a must-visit for tourists in Switzerland, the capital of watchmaking.

Patek Philippe's salon and museum are common tourist spots in Geneva, while Carl F Bucherer's headquarters in Lucerne is another popular place of interest.

It must be an honor for these brands to become a world class attraction. To reach this level of recognition, the brand has to be famous and own an important position in the watch industry.

Carl F Bucherer is one of them, having been loved by many since its establishment in 1888.

Its platinum ladies' watch with diamonds, launched in 1960, is solid proof.

The timepiece costs as much as 55,000 Swiss francs (HK$436,500) - the price of a castle at the time.

However, despite the high price, the rich and royal all fought to reserve one.

Since launching his first ladies' watch collection in the art deco style in 1919, Carl F Bucherer has been continuously pursuing elegance and beauty in the revolutionary concept.

For example, the rectangular 14-karat Art Deco women's watch was a breakthrough in design with its champagne color and handmade steel pointers.

Sticking to its tradition, the brand's latest watch, Manero AutoDate Love, upholds the Art Deco style and carries meaningful messages such as to treasure life and protect the environment.
