Ikea has made a name for itself for cheap home fixtures. But even skinflints would be amazed at just how much can be bought at the store for the price of a cup of coffee.
From now until August 4, Ikea is hosting a mobile showroom to highlight to customers just how much bang they can get for their buck.
Loaded with a selection of affordable products, the Everyday Low Price Truck will tour the city from 12.30 to 7.30pm every day.
If you spot the truck, hop on and get inspiration on how to decorate your home on a budget.
In true Ikea style, the interior is furnished according to themes with products that will take you from morning to night.
There is a section of household and personal hygiene products to help safeguard the home during the pandemic.
In another display, products are presented inside clear boxes numbered from one to 10 to represent their prices.
You can also do photo check-ins on Instagram, take part in mini games and stand to win prizes, and download the Ikea app to get a HK$20 voucher (which is effectively lots of free stuff, given that products start from HK$1).
Get there early and you can get a free canvas bag after your tiny tour.
For those of you who want to go truck chasing, its location will be announced on the Ikea Hong Kong Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IKEAhongkong) each week.
