Set in between the greenery of the City River Park and the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Victoria Riverside is home to 643 contemporary apartments and townhouses in the fast-growing English city of Manchester.
First International Property, a subsidiary of Far East Consortium (FEC), unveils a new residential development, Victoria Riverside, in Hong Kong for the first time. This marks the first phase of Victoria North, the biggest urban renewal project Manchester has ever seen.
The project, jointly developed and funded by FEC and Manchester City Council, is set to build 15,000 new homes across 155 hectares, and seven neighbourhoods in the north of the city centre over the next 20 years.
Chris Hoong, Managing Director of FEC, says the British government attaches great importance to this project in the hope of helping with Manchester’s shortfall in housing.
“The government has invested over HK$500 million to lift the quality of the neighborhood, such as its infrastructure,” says Hoong. “With a number of favorable factors, this new development has a high potential for future appreciation.”
As a location with excellent interconnectivity, Victoria Riverside boasts ideal living conditions for Hong Kong buyers. It is in the vicinity of diverse international companies, such as renowned tech company Amazon and two premium grammar schools, satisfying the needs of both individual and family buyers.
Furthermore, the new development has the biggest Chinese market in England and the open space of the City River Park, as well as a comprehensive and convenient transportation network, including a 26-minute drive to Manchester Airport.
Victoria Riverside totals three buildings comprising 643 new homes of 1 to 3 bedrooms, which are all set to complete in 2024. First International Property launches the Park View Tower as the first phase, offering about 190 new homes of 1 to 3 bedrooms. Prices start from £234,500, or about HK$2.5million.
Designed by award-winning architects Hawkins/Brown, the 25-storey stylish Park View Tower stands out from low-rise and old-style residential buildings in Manchester. “The buildings embrace the natural elements of Manchester, and the new development will continue to add more greenery in the future,” says Nick Lam, Head of International Property at First International Property.
The facade of the building creates floor-to-ceiling, picture-frame windows for each apartment, making the character of the local area an integral part of every home. Looking north, residents will take in the views of the City River Park; while looking south, there is the city centre and Angel Meadow Park.
Dedicated to offering a hassle-free buying experience for Hong Kong buyers, First International Property has introduced a one-stop service that includes a furniture delivery service. In collaboration with a British furnishing provider David Phillips, FEC has a 3,000 sq. ft showroom near the Wanchai Dorsett Hotel to showcase the British furniture.
Buyers can choose the furniture there and the selected items will be directly delivered to the UK. Those buying a new home of the Victoria Riverside at the upcoming exhibition will receive a bonus of a £2,000 furniture voucher.
