3 Vehicle Collision on Hiram's Highway Leaves at Least 5 Injured, Including a Pregnant Woman

A three-vehicle accident occurred on Hiram's Highway on Sunday night. At around 9 pm, two minibuses and a private car collided at the junction of Mang Kung Wo Road in Sai Kung, leaving at least five people injured, one of whom was a pregnant woman. 

Rescue personnel are currently en route to provide assistance, while police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Online photos from the scene showed severe damage to the front of one of the minibuses, with its bumper dislodged and vehicle parts scattered across the road. The front of the private car was also damaged.

The Transport Department stated that traffic in the area is currently heavy. Due to the accident, parts of the carriageway at the intersection of Sai Kung Road and Mong Kong Wo Road have been closed, and motorists are advised to use the remaining open lanes.
