Temperature to rise to 21 degrees on Christmas day

The Observatory forecasted that the maximum temperature would rise to 21 degrees on Christmas Day as a dry northeast monsoon brings fine weather to Guangdong.  

According to a nine-day weather forecast, Monday morning (Dec 23) will still be cool, with the minimum temperature dipping to 14 degrees.  

In the next couple of days, daytime temperatures are expected to rise, reaching around 17 to 22 degrees on Christmas Day and 18 to 22 degrees on Boxing Day.  

However, the weather is anticipated to cool over the weekend due to another surge of the northeast monsoon, with the lowest temperature dropping to 15 degrees next Saturday (Dec 28).  

The watchdog also mentioned that the weather will be cool on New Year's Eve morning, with temperature hovering between 17 to 21 degrees.
