80-year-old dies from virus at North District Hospital

An 80-year-old male patient confirmed with the coronavirus infection died last night, the North District Hospital announced today.

The patient, suffering from chronic diseases was admitted to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital on November 23 due to fever. His condition worsened and was then transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of NDH on December 3. The patient died at 10.04pm yesterday.

So far, 121 coronavirus patients in the city have died in public hospitals.
