Three activists from Student Politicism arrested yesterday appeared in court this afternoon, and saw the case adjourned to November 3.

The three are group convener Wong Yat-chin, 20, secretary general Chan Chi-sum, 20, and former spokeswoman Chu Wai-ying, 18, who is a student at Baptist University.

They were arrested by national security police yesterday's morning and charged with conspiring to incite subversion of state power, as officers said they distribute materials to incite hatred against the government and provide materials for remanded inmates to help them recruit followers in jails.

The trio appeared before magistrate Don So Man-lung in West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts this afternoon. So had never handled any case related to national security law before.

Prosecution wished to adjourn the case to November 3 and transfer it to the District Court, which were granted by So. The three needed not to enter a plea for the moment but they won't be granted bail.
