Hong Kong on Tuesday saw two imported cases from Qatar and the Philippines, without any untraceable local infection.
The two cases involved a 49-year-old man from Qatar and a 53-year-old woman from the Philippines. They didn't develop any symptoms and had stayed at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon in Ho Man Tin and Ramada Hong Kong Grand Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui respectively.
The Centre for Health Protection said the man had received both doses of the Sinovac vaccine on March 18 and April 15, while the woman had received both doses of the BioNTech vaccine on April 10 and May 1.
The man was also found carrying the mutant L452R Covid strain.
The city's tally currently stands at 12,149. There were also fewer than five preliminary positive cases today.
Over the past fortnight, the SAR reported 41 cases, all of them imported.
