League of Social Democrats, along with two organizations tomorrow will apply for police's permission to hold the July 1 march.

Earlier Civil Human Rights Front said it won't organize the July 1 march, after the group's convenor Figo Chan Ho-wun was sent to jail, and police challenged whether the front is a legal society.

Front has been organizing the July 1 march since 2003.

The League, as well as Tin Shui Wai Connection and Save Lantau Alliance will apply from the police a letter of no objection tomorrow, hoping to continue the yearly tradition for the 18th year.

According to the League and two groups, this year's theme would be “Defend Civic Society, Resist Political Suppression and Release all Political Criminals”.
