A lucky draw offering a flat as a prize to boost Hong Kong's Covid-19 inoculation rate said over one million Hong Kong residents had registered, one week after the online registration opened to the public.

The lucky draw, jointly sponsored by Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation Limited, the philanthropic arm of Sino Group, and Chinese Estates Holdings Limited, will be picking one lucky winner to receive the one-bedroom flat valued at HK$10.8 million at the Grand Central development in Kwun Tong.

Eligible members of the public will be able to register for the lucky draw on a designated website launched by the organizers, or do so in person at different malls across the city.

Registration for the lucky draw will close on September 1.

The winner – along with those of 20 pre-paid or credit cards loaded with a value of HK$100,000 – will be announced on September 8.
