Train services between Mong Kok East and Hung Hom will be suspended on June 13, marking the fifth out of ten Sunday closures.

During the closure MTR will facilitate bifurcation works for the cross-harbour section of the East Rail Line.

As a concert will be held at Hong Kong Coliseum that night, MTR will arrange additional free shuttle buses between Hung Hom and Kowloon Tong stations starting from 11pm.

The departure of the last train on the East Rail Line (Sheung Shui-bound) from Mong Kok East will remain at around 12.28am.

MTR also advised people attending the concert that night to take the West Rail Line to and from Hung Hom station and interchange to other lines.

The train company reminded passengers to expect longer journey time as the capacity of shuttle buses is limited and the operational efficiency may be affected due to unpredictable road traffic conditions.

It advised passengers to plan their journeys in advance, take alternative train routes or transportation.
