Hong Kong to end weeklong streak of zero untraceable infections

Hong Kong’s weeklong streak of zero untraceable infections is set to end today as health officials are set to report one local untraceable Covid-19 case in the territory.

According to sources, the patient involved a 4-year-old child. The child was said to have been sampled and tested two days ago.

The other two patients in the city today were imported cases.

The daily virus briefing will also be staged today.

As of Friday, Hong Kong’s Covid tally stood at 11,818, along with 210 related deaths.
