There will be no local infections in the city today, with only five imported cases to be confirmed, according to sources.

Health officials yesterday confirmed three Covid patients, bringing the tally to 11,802 cases.

Among the three were two local cases and one imported case.

The local patients include a 29-year-old BGI staff, who took his two BioNTech jabs on March 20 and April 10. His source of infection remains unknown.

BGI is a mainland firm responsible for Covid-19 testing in Hong Kong.

The other patient is a 67-year-old woman who lives in Fung Hing House in Hing Wah (II) Estate. The woman was said to be the mother of the infected Philippino who lives in the Parkes Building in Jordan.

The imported case yesterday is a returnee from Indonesia.
