Trains between Hung Hom and Mong Kok East suspends today

Local | 18 Apr 2021 4:34 pm

The train service between Hung Hom and Mong Kok East stations is suspended today for construction works of the cross-harbour section of East Rail Line.

The work involved installing the rail turnout heading to Mong Kok East station, alongside relevant tests and modifications.

It started at midnight with around 200 workers at different positions.

MTR also sent around 300 workers to different stations of the East Rail Line in assisting passengers to ensure train service and station operation run smoothly.

A free shuttle bus service is available between Hung Hom and Kowloon Tong, not stopping at Mong Kok East, arranged by MTR.

MTR thanked passengers for their cooperation and understanding.
