Online radio host, Giggs, was arrested again on the suspicion of committing an act with seditious intention, after the investigation of the National Security Office

The 52 year-old presenter was first arrested, together with his wife and assistant in North Point, on suspicion of money laundering and funding secessionist activities last November.

Wan Yiu-sing, widely known as  "Giggs", was a program host for internet radio channel D100, initiated a crowdfunding scheme to help those who have fled to Taiwan in early 2020. He said the money received would be used to support young protesters to live and study in Taiwan.

Police said the trio collected around HK$14 million in the scheme. Half of the money was used to fund organisations that support Taiwan independence while the trio embezzled the remaining HK$7 million, with some being used for stock purchasing.
