Beijing arrivals from HK required negative Covid results starting Wednesday

Beijing authorities today announced that all persons traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing by direct flights would be required to present valid proof of a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test result issued within seven days starting from midnight on January 27.

The test results must be produced by one of the local COVID-19 nucleic acid testing institutions recognized by the HKSAR Government.

Airlines will check the relevant documents before boarding, travelers who fail to comply with the requirements will not be allowed to board, according to the Beijing Municipal Government.
