Bail for woman accused of attempting to wound cops

A digital editor of an advertising company, 35, accused of hurling a metal pole from a height at six police officers at the Times Square in Causeway Bay on July 1, was brought to the Eastern Magistrates' Courts today.

She is facing a count of attempted wounding with intent. The charge alleges her of intending to cause serious injuries to chief inspector 7627, sergeant 52708, sergeant 53865, station sergeant 52347, inspector 19336 and sergeant 58151, and attempted to illegally and maliciously harm them.

The case was adjourned until September 9 for the police to conduct further investigations and the defendant was released on bail of HK$20,000. She was ordered to not leave Hong Kong, report to the police twice a week and live in the address she provided.
